Gu Peng Festival is a traditional ritual in Anping, Tainan. The ritual leads the spirits of the dead from water to the tower built, providing a feast for all the ancestors who dies in the water. People who prepare the festival will hang pigs up high and tape snacks onto the bamboo sticks. When all is prepared, they'll wait until night falls.
